Kwizda Agro Bundles Thermacell® Distribution in Austria
Plant protection specialist to supply mosquito repellent solutions to camping, hunting, fishing, and sporting goods retailers from 2026
Vienna, February 6, 2026... Kwizda Agro will take over the complete distribution of Thermacell® mosquito repellers in Austria as of the beginning of 2026. In addition to its existing responsibility for the home & garden as well as the DIY and electronics retail sectors, the company will now also supply stores and online shops in the camping, hunting, fishing, and sporting goods sectors (CHFS). This consolidation of distribution responsibilities is a key part of Kwizda Agro’s strategic market approach and further strengthens the presence of the Thermacell® brand across diverse application segments.
Thermacell® is an internationally active US-based company with partners worldwide. Until now, distribution in Austria was segmented: Kwizda Agro has been responsible for the home & garden as well as DIY and electronics sectors since 2020, while an external partner managed the CHFS segment. With the new structure, Kwizda Agro is now creating clear responsibilities and offering retail partners a single, unified point of contact.

Same Product Range, Different Applications
In both segments – Home & Garden and CHFS – Kwizda Agro offers the same product range. This includes gas- and battery-operated Thermacell® devices that quickly create a protective zone against mosquitoes in the immediate area. The products require no sprays, direct skin contact, or open flames, making them suitable both for use around the home and for outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, or hunting. “For Thermacell®, ease of use is central from the user’s perspective,” explains Alexander Kunkal, Manager, Home & Garden Austria at Kwizda Agro. “Whether enjoying a barbecue on the terrace, out camping, or on the go—Thermacell® provides reliable protection at the press of a button, and several people can benefit from the mosquito-free zone.”
